I make things with paper. These include pop-up and mechanical books, paper dolls, DIY paper craft, books with embedded electronics, videos and animation through LCD screens and AR, and more. Below are a listing of some of the projects.

2018. My Hysterectomy
A downloadable e-book containing illustrated versions of the stories of 18 women, as well as animated AR components as well as printable DIY paper craft, including reproductive system pop-ups and paper cuts with all proceeds from  the downloadable book will go to reproductive health organizations. 2018. Struwwelpeter Kickstarter
In 2018 I will launch a Kickstarter campaigned to create a single volume pop-up book of the Struwwelpeter. In addition to the pop-ups, the book will contain animations available through AR as well as DIY Paper craft. More info…

2010-2016. The Struwwelpeter Series
In 1845 Heinrich Hoffman created Der Struwwelpeter as a gift for his son. The children in each of the ten rhymed and illustrated morality tales encounter such disastrous consequences, I was inspired to make my own series of accordion, pop-up, carousel, and tunnel books.   More info…

2015. Breath 
A study on respiration inspired by several weeks of poor AQI while living in Shanghai. The study contains an anatomical flap book, anatomical cross-section paper cuts, and a projected animated book on the respiratory cycle. More info…

20015 Parallels
A site-specific book collaboration with artist Melanie Mowinski, created for the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts’ Gallery 51 “Exchange” exhibition, featuring artwork completed with the help of technology or reflecting feelings connected to its use as an art or social tool. More info…

2012 Feud: An Interactive Pop-Up Book 
A project of Ephraim and Sadie Hatfield, produced by Greylock Arts. The first of two volumes, the book contained six separate spreads complete with electronics, light, motors, and vibration. More info…

2007 Participatory Books
