Detail of pop-up book - Shockheaded Peter

You’ve reached my website! I am an artist and maker of things. This site is primarily dedicated to my paper arts and book projects, installation and interactive work, and web, animation, and video projects.

I also teach at the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and at the Interactive Media Arts Program (IMA) at NYU Shanghai which I co-founded with Matthew Belanger. I am also the co-founder of the Ability Project at NYU and work for the Office of Global Programs.

From 2007-2012 I co-directed an arts organization, Greylock Arts, with Matthew Belanger. Located in the Northern Berkshires Greylock Arts presented exhibitions and talks, and developed educational programs to facilitate a deeper public appreciation for emerging art practice. In New York, I volunteer a lot with one of my favorite organizations, The Adaptive Design Association. They make customized adaptive equipment from readily available materials (such as cardboard) for children with disabilities.
