The Struwwelpeter More Morbid Pop-Up Tales Single Volume Book
On March 26th, I launched “The Struwwelpeter and More Morbid Pop-Up Tales” Kickstarter Campaign — A single volume pop-up book complete with scroll, printable paper craft activities (including coloring book pages, cut and assemble activities and 3D sculptures), and animations based on the Struwwelpeter by Heinrich Hoffman.
The campaign lasted 30 days and reached 116% of its goal, with 509 backers pledging $46,527.
The book is available online through my website Etsy, Poposition Press, and Topatco.
It is available for sale in-person through numerous book stores, including the Mass MoCA Gift Store, as well as recent book fairs, including:

There are many many people to thank (their names appear on the Kickstarter page and will appear on the back jacket of the book!) However, I need to stop here and thank: Matthew Belanger, Di Hu, the Hall Family (Cecilia, Matthew, Caleb, Jed), and Anita Perr – without whom the book would not have happened. xo

Jody and I got lots of attention at New York Maker Faire! We won an Editor’s Choice ribbon and Best in Class! Also, we were featured on the Make website and Gareth Branwyn wrote a lovely review on MakeZine: https://makezine.com/2016/10/10/telling-stories-with-21st-century-pop-up-books/

The wonderful Kyle Olmon wrote an article entitled “Movable Book Artists Who Move Me: A Survey of Contemporary Pop-up Artists’ Books”, which appears in Parenthesis issue 31; The Journal of the Fine Press Book Association, Autumn 2016. I am beyond thrilled to be included with such amazing artists as Carol Barton, Julie Chen, Andrea Dezsö, Colette Fu, Helen Hiebert, Paul Johnson, Emily Martin, Shawn Sheehy, Kevin Steele, Phillipe UG, and Dorothy Yule. Thank you, Kyle!
